Job Opening: Warehouse Worker

Position Description

Join a great team of staff and volunteers at the Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore – a unique retail outlet that sells donated new and used building materials at very low prices – keeping usable materials out of the landfills and providing all of our profits to support the Greater Green Bay Area Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity, in partnership with Goodwill NCW, is searching for a Warehouse Worker to help support their operations.

The Warehouse Worker will help determine what materials within ReStore will go directly to the sales floor and what items will be stored in the warehouse until needed. Along with keeping the warehouse and loading dock neat and orderly, this role will also work with ReStore volunteers to receive donations at the donation door. This position will also occasionally drive a 23' straight truck to pick up donated materials from donors as well as operate electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and two and four wheel dollies.

Qualified candidates must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis and must be able to lift up to 150 lbs on occasion, have a valid driver's license with good driving record and excellent customer service skills. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not required. This is a 25-29 hours per week, scheduled Tuesday thru Saturday role.

Hours per Week: 25-29 hours a week

Start Date: Based on Accepted Offer

Starting Salary Range: $10 an hour.

Salary/Benefit Notes: This position will be eligible for a part-time benefits program.
